harvested moments
My passion for capturing farmers and their farms began with my dad. He was impossible to get to cooperate for a photo, but every moment of arguing was worth it. He would claim to hate being photographed, but I knew he secretly enjoyed the attention he received when those photos showed up online. Farmers are rarely comfortable in front of the camera. Their expressions are raw and genuine, unfiltered by pretense. That’s what makes photographs of them so captivating. You can see the years of hard work in the lines on their faces and the callouses on their hands.
